Herbal Soap Product Labels

This has been an herbal soap label design week.

I tried making handmade soap and decided I like designing

the labels and other business stationery better.

And it is really fun to buy them from others. The last bar

I bought had oatmeal in it for exfoliation. So nice.

It's said the first recipe for soap was found in ancient Babylon

circa 2200 B.C. yet soap making didn't begin in earnest

in Europe until the 17th century. Italy and Spain were two of the

main producers of soap.

After a while there were complaints that the European soap didn't

smell very good so they started importing soap from the

Middle East where they added essential oils for a nice aroma

and more pleasant bathing experience.
