A Fallon Field, Kayaking, and Summer Solstice
At our painting group today I painted this scene of a field near my house. I wanted
to work on perspective and vanishing points. My reference photo was taken in the evening with a few storm clouds in the sky and I liked the navy blue shades in the atmosphere.
I went to Lake Lahontan to paint Saturday and several kayaks were floating about.
Reaching 100 degrees lately with windy evenings
sometimes accented with thunder and lightening.
