Backyard Sketches Cattails and Olives

I've been enjoying the cooler temps and golden colors beginning to show so I went out this morning to sketch.  I consider the backyard the entire neighborhood and field area around where I live so that gives me much more space for inspiration...:)  Today I found huge cattails and the Russian Olive trees are starting to become full with their fruits.  I added a little more color to them than they really are.  I thought they needed a little pink.  I've been inspired to post more drawings and paintings after visiting and reading these two blogs:
