Allspice Floriography

Allspice means compassion. It is also called "Jamaica pepper", myrtle pepper or newspice. From Wikipedia ~ The name Allspice was coined as early as 1621 by the English who thought it combined the flavor of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. It is not a mixture of spices, but a dried fruit of the Pimenta dioica plant. When dry the fruit resembles large brown peppercorns. Tasty stuff.
