Agrimony Flower Meaning

Agrimony means thankfulness, gratitude. It belongs to the Rosaceae family and has medicinal value. It has been used for several ailments but a common use is for a mild cough and sore throat. It can be made into a tea to help relieve this. Also speakers and singers have been known to gargle with agrimony before performances. Other names for this plant are Church Steeples, Cockeburr, Sticklewort. No fun historical or mythological stories that I could find with this one. Has very pretty yellow flower clusters on tall spikes.
