Nevada Lavender Farm and Cotswold Sheep

We visited a lavender farm in Gardnerville last weekend.
They were having a grand opening of their gift shop.
She has a nice variety of handmade items made
with their own lavender essential oil.
They had a couple of Cotswold type sheep that I decided to
paint in the lavender.

Tucked up next to the Sierras in the Jobs Peak area.
She kindly let me take photos for painting reference.

They have the lavender planted in a really pretty labyrinth pattern.
Some killdeers have made it their home, and we were giving them fits
walking around, must've been getting way to close to their eggs.

I've had a great time this week putting my painting
on a variety of decor items and cards.

And a poster print on Zazzle.
The great thing about Zazzle is you can put
the image on a variety of their items.
A pillow, notebook, postcard, and more

And a greeting card that has a shade of lavender
on the inside with text you can edit.

I'm looking forward to going back for
a silversmithing class this summer.
And maybe to paint - that would be a treat.
