Reese River Valley and Rosemary
At lunchtime while exploring the Reese River Valley near Austin.
We sat in our truck and watched a lightning storm move over the valley with
these fabulous dark clouds following the mountain range.
Walking around Amador in a light rain. A few rock houses still standing.
I liked the chair in this one. Come on in and have a seat.
On the way home there is a stretch of Highway 50 where people have
made words of the rocks on the playa. I found a stretch where
there were some photograph-worthy words.
May is gardening season and I love rosemary. When it is blooming
it's even better. Tiny blue blossoms tucked in the fragrant evergreen leaves.
I entered the monthly contest on Greeting Card Universe in April
and won first place with this card!
The illustration was inspired by rock climbers up at Donner Summit.
