Boundary Peak Hike and Sketch
A grove of trees changing beautiful colors on the road up to Boundary Peak.
Looked like a glimpse of New England in the Nevada desert.
One of my favorite desert plants, but I don't know what it's called.
Seems to glow in the sunlight.
We saw a couple people picking pine nuts on the way up.
I enjoyed a few myself and covered my fingertips in sap.
Loved it.
We hiked to this register. We didn't attempt the 3000ft.
elevation hike up the summit.
We met a man from Connecticut
who was getting ready to hike up.
A few buildings still standing near the grove of colorful trees.
I sat under a pinion pine and sketched. All was quiet.
