Nigella Watercolor Studies

 

I have lots of Nigella blooming right now.

I did several studies.  This more detailed drawing on bristol paper with pencil and paint.

 

A quick study with pen and ink wash.

 

And a painterly study with no pencil drawing and using just a flat brush to make the shapes.  I liked this one the best and enjoyed painting it the most.
