Stormy Day Watercolor and Photography

 

We had some nice storms last week with great clouds so I wanted to paint the clouds and winter trees.  

 

I'm also taking a photography course from The Great Courses and am trying out some of what I've learned.  Photographed later in the day under cloudy sky, but the colors in the towels look bright.

 

Later in the afternoon when the light still isn't optimum but I wanted to capture the blue sky and great clouds.  A few harsh shadows but I still like the photo.
