Broken Dishes and Leo

When we go exploring in the desert I like to pick up broken pieces of china and pottery. I bring them home and have them in a tall clear glass vase. I was inspired to draw some pieces last week. I liked the challenge of trying to capture the texture of the pottery underneath the glaze and give it a worn look. I'm thinking I may put these onto fabric too. Might make a unique print.

Leo's birthday month and I made some Leo party invitations. Bright red for the hottest month of the year!
