Fort Churchill Night Photography

I joined the Reno Photography Club on Monday at Fort Churchill for practicing night photography.  I went out just before sunset to see what the colors would be like.   

Do not enter signs in front of all the buildings now so I had to shoot from a distance. 

It was a nice calm evening and great clouds.  The sun put a nice glow on the flowering bushes and the sides of the buildings. 

I saw quite a few rabbits.  Three really small cotton tails and a few jack rabbits.  Otherwise very quiet.  

The group arrived after the sun started to set and we stayed to shoot the stars.  A new experience for me.  I learned a lot more about my camera and had a great time.  My first capture of the stars.
