Winter Walk At The Lake

I've been working on paintings lately.  I get comfortable with my sketchbook style art and small illustrations.  This painting is of the south shore of Lake Tahoe.  I bought an Ebook from Elizabeth Tyler on painting.  She paints beautifully and has written a wonderful book with great information and lots of her paintings in it.  She's from Sweden and travels on her boat a lot so her paintings are different from what I'm used to seeing and it's a nice change.    

Last weekend we drove out toward the Gabbs area and explored.  This is my sketchbook page for the day. I have some photos too I'll post soon.  Nice day.  It's been like spring here.
