Honeybees at Fallon Fourth of July Parade

We had the most festive, uplifting, inspiring,
and patriotic parade I've ever experienced
here in Fallon this Fourth of July.
Honeybees were a major focus, and it seemed
the majority of the floats had some.

Fallon has quite a few people raising honeybees.
Rau Bees (one of Nevada's largest beekeepers),
Stony Bee's Honey, D50 Ranch Honey, and more.
And there seems to be more people starting lavender farms
in Northern Nevada.

A lot of great effort toward helping the honeybees
do their work, which helps us all.

I haven't seen very many bees
in my garden this summer.

People were really creative with their costumes and floats.
I need to find myself a pair of those sunglasses.

We've had a lot of dragonflies.
And the hummingbirds are busy.

It was one of the best parades I've been to
and I was buzzing by the time it was over.

The kids probably were too with
all that candy.

Well done, Fallon.
