State Christmas Cards Starting with Alaska

I learned that the tundra receives as little precipitation as some deserts

and the temperature is above freezing for just a few weeks of the year.

One of my favorite aspects of designing these cards

was illustrating the state shapes and deciding on the color.

This was a view we had while staying on the Big Island

a couple years ago

Another tropical warm holiday scene.

This one of the southern shores of the Golden State.

The people that live there probably surf on Christmas.

How neat is that.

But I'd rather have my sweater collection.

I'm a cold weather girl.
