Pine Grove Nevada Drawings

I've joined the "urban sketchers" group on Flickr after finding the book at B&N and have been inspired to draw more structures.  We took a trip up to an old ghost town called Pine Grove last weekend and I drew the cabin up there.  Lots of people like to ride their four-wheelers up there and it is much cooler than it is down here where it's in the 100s - too hot.  

I walked up to the cabin and sat on one of the windowsills, the cabin has really large windows.  I really liked the view from the inside out.  Lots of people visit up there and leave their mark on the inside walls of the cabin so I added them to my drawing.  Lots of love notes, hearts, names and a note to be careful next to a smiley face.  I will be.
