Illustration Friday - Legendary
As I work through my my astrology cards I am on Leo which is represented by the lion, the legendary king of the jungle. I've known only a few Leos in my life, my dad for one, and I think he had the presence of a Leo. I am hoping to meet some more in my life.
I'm a Leo (and come to think of it, I don't know very many either). I love this illustration--it's so warm and bright. The lion and the sunflower somehow speak to each other, and the lion becomes warm and gentle like the flower. That's a nice change from "lion as something always fierce."
