Fine Art Paintings of Nevada in Watercolor

I have a lot of paintings that I've done for my

greeting cards. So, I've set up shop on Fine Art America

One of my favorite aspects to paint is a sunset or sunrise sky

and work with the colors to see how they flow.

I just add water to the top of the page just to the top of

the next element and add color.

I tilt the paper this way and that to see what the colors

will do. Then let it dry which always changes it a bit.

I also like taking photos of the buildings we find

in ghost towns we happen upon while exploring the desert.

I like keeping the mystery alive in the work.

Many times, walking into the old buildings

is a bit creepy as if the people just left

or are watching you from somewhere close.
