Desert Snow

 

Our first real snowstorm for the season came through finally in February.

I took a morning walk along the canal to capture the fresh fallen snow.

 

For the minimalist theme we see in a lot of artwork and photographs now.

 

Last season's sunflowers.  I think this was my favorite for the plants and the blue stripe of sky as the clouds started breaking up.

 

Walking toward home I liked the light on the snow and the textures in this photograph.

Undisturbed snow with a few rabbit trails here and there.
